Props to Sleek Audio and SA6

“the SA6’s are tiny and light and easy to fit with sufficient stability that you can walk, run, whatever, and forget that they are on”
Hearing Music Like Never Before

Here’s what i have to say about the SA6s: “I never considered myself an audiophile. To me music was music. That is until I got my SA6s.”
SA6 Earphones Versus Big, Over the Ear Headphones
April 24, 2008
“this is the first pair of IEM that I have had the pleasure of listening to that blows anything I ever owned out of the water when it comes to sound quality.”
When I was looking at a new pair of IEM (my only experience with them being with the Sony MDR-EX71) to replace my BeyerDynamic DT770 Pro for everyday music listening (and to remove the umbilical cord I have with my laptop using those, and to be portable) I stumbled upon this thread, got inspired by the great reviews and the ability to tweak your own sound. Crying wallet in hand, I ordered a pair and ever since I received them, I have never looked back… I’m not by any mean a professional reviewer, just a “headphone enthusiast”
Another big THUMBS UP for the Sleek Audio SA6
April 10, 2008
“There is no doubt in my mind that in my six years of IEM experience, these are the best things I’ve ever put in my ear canals.”
Ok, so I’ve never been good at giving technical reviews of audio equipment, but what I lack in description, I will make up to all of you in honesty.
The SA6s sound just plain awesome, that’s about it. And by plain, I don’t mean dull, I mean that in my opinion there’s zero argument that even at $250 these are still a fantastic value. I’ve owned both the Westone UM2 and the Atrio M5 and I feel that these are a fantastic combination of the two.
Superbly Designed
April 3, 2008
“After 4 weeks of use I have to conclude that the SA6 is a superbly designed and crafted IEM.”
Comfortable and easy to use, they are capable of achieving the highest levels of resolution, dynamics and neutrality that can easily reveal the true nature of source material and equipment. My main reference? Stax Sigma (non-Pro) driven by Tim De Paravacini EAR 509 MkII 100WPC valve monoblocs.
SA6 Review, Price vs Performance
February 8, 2008
“I just received the earphones around 2 hours back. All I can say is “WOW!!!!”. Definitely exceeds expectation.”
For price vs. performance, this one blows the competition away completely.
