“If you are anything like me, I know what you are probably thinking, as I was initially thinking the same thing as well… Sleek Audio has a clever marketing team that is capable of writing catchy sentences to hype up their product. Been there, done that. Being the skeptic I am, especially in such a competitive market flooded with so many different options, I can sincerely say I was made a believer within just minutes of actually using their product.”

Review: SLEEK AUDIO SA6 In-Ear Headphones
Sing To Your Ears
By Danny Dumas February 21, 2008 | 12:01:00 PMCategories: Audio, Reviews Eschewing the one-sound-fits-all headphone paradigm, personal audio newcomer Sleek Audio sets the mark for sound customization and modular design. Created by Mark Krywko, a 30-year veteran of hearing aid design, these mini-concert halls are built around a tiny super wide band single armature driver with interchangeable treble tips and bass ports and sport a detachable cord. Straight out of the box the SA6’s delivered luscious fidelity. But why stop there?

“Sleek Audio SA6 earphones are here and we reviewed them, overall score 10. Unbelievable! these “transformers” are the best in high quality in-ear earphones around its price.”

Sleek-Audio is a new company that makes some very unique earphones. The earphones are dubbed SA6 and feature a lot of highly innovative features such as tuning ports that allow the user to customize the sound signature of the earphones. Even though Sleek-Audio is a relatively new brand they have already developed a good name for themselves. Their dedication and support for the product and excellent customer reviews have most definitely helped to promote the brand and further added to the hype about the Sleek-Audio earphones.

Company: Sleek Audio - SA6 Earphones

Sleek Audio’s first entry into the crowded arena of portable in ear headphones is in the super-premium $250-plus category. This is a bold and strategic commercial and design decision.
SA6 headphones differ from all other competitors previously on the market, because Sleek’s are “completely adjustable.”

Reviews by Gary on 2008/3/27 17:26:28 (94)This has been, by far, the most difficult Earphone review for me to write. The difficulty is due to the complexity and the “coolness” of this particular product - the Sleek SA6. Imagine being able to custom tune your earphones. Too much treble? You can reduce it. Need more bass? Plug in a “bass port” and give more “oomph” to your music. These are fully customizable earphones with Treble Tubes and Bass Ports you swap in and out to “tailor” the sound to your taste. What more could a “gadget nut” really want?

Headphone addiction
I have a headphone fetish. A great set of ‘phones are more important to me than any media player, and an average pair completely ruins any listening experience for me. I’ve had an ongoing love affair with V-Moda’s mighty Vibe headphones ($100; v-moda.com) for about a year now, but I try to keep an open mind.
Sleek Audio is an upstart boutique company with roots in hearing-aid design. Their debut product is the ingenious SA6 in-ear headphone system ($250; sleek-audio.com). Crafty innovations include a completely tunable audio experience and modular design. Included are three sets of swappable treble filters and bass ports; I left the installed trebles and plugged in the extended bass ports and was instantly wowed by the precise, rich sound.

Sleek Audio SA6 Earphones - Sleek’s tagline “Find your audio fingerprint” is probably one of the most fitting descriptive phrases to accompany the SA6. Amidst the hustle and bustle of CES, I was approached by a Sleek Audio representative, and by the end of our discussion all that I could say was, “thank you for finding me.”
